Friends Of Nuttall Park Ramsbottom
The Monday afternoon Gardening club meet every Monday until the end of November from 1.30 p.m. All are welcome. Meet at the base or find us in the park
The Base will be used as a tea room when there are volunteers to run it. There will be signs within the park when the tea room is open and usually details on the facebook page. Come along and say hello. Refreshments are available with donations going to help further work in the park. If you can help, contact us.
Kids Rock are a private company who hire the base on a Wednesday morning from 10:30 for music and songs for pre-school children.

Love Parks Week
4th - 11th August
We will be opening the tea room all week and putting on special events and taster sessions of Nordic Walking and Boules
Friday 4th Bat Walk at 9 p.m. - Meet at the base. No booking required
Cancelled if wet with a reserve date of the 11th August

Monday 7th 1 p.m. onwards - Tea Room Open, Outside play and Craft activities -
6.15 p.m. Balsam Attack - Spend up to an hour pulling up this invasive weed from the edge of the park. A repeat of the successful evening on Wednesday

5 p.m. Official opening of the new perimeter path
5.30 Ramsbottom Running Club Family Fun Run and Summer Mile. Hog Roast and Beer Tent.
Wednesday 9th 1 p.m. Onwards Play Day in the park in conjuction with Ramsbottom Together
2 p.m. Nordic Walking Taster session run by Hamish
Firstly why should anyone be interested in Nordic Walking.
There will be a free taster session on Wednesday 9th August at 2 pm poles provided. please text Hamish if you are interested as there is a limit to the number of people he can take. 07967318501. children over 8 years old can join in as long as parents are taking part.

Clean & varnish wooden equipment. Jet wash dragon etc., clean Base.
Everyone is welcome to come and clean up Nuttall Park

Lantern Parade Sale
We have been given plenty of costumes and items which will be useful for the Lantern Parade on the 28th October. These will be on sale over the weekend when the tea room is open
Saturday 28th October 3 - 6 p.m.
Our popular Lantern Parade will be held again, this time finishing at 6 p.m. when it goes dark, as the clocks don’t go back until the following day
