The base is available for hire. It is suitable for children’s parties for up to 40 adults and children and meetings for 20 people. You are welcome to arrange a visit to the base to see if it is suitable for your event.
There is a regular term time morning Wednesday morning by Kids Rock
If there are no bookings at the weekend, and volunteers are available, the tea room will be open subject to volunteers being available, usually between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Check the facebook page.

Base Hire Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are binding upon any person, club, society or organisation hiring Nuttall Park Base.
All references to ‘FONP’ refer to authorised members of the Friends of Nuttall Park Group.
The person signing the application form shall for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions be deemed to be the Hirer.
The Hirer shall not be allowed to sub let or transfer bookings to another party without the consent of the FONP.
The Base may only be used for the purposes and period stated on the application form, unless the hirer has obtained prior written consent of the FONP.
The Hirer is to keep all used areas of the centre; main room, toilets and kitchen area clean and tidy at all times, and on vacating the premises leave it in the same state of cleanliness as it was on entering including removal of all rubbish.
If you would prefer us to provide a cleaner at a charge of £20 please let us know.
Crockery, cleaning materials and toiletries will be provided.
The kitchen facilities are to be used solely for the making of teas and coffees and sale of light refreshments/snacks and soft drinks which will be provided by FONP, money to be put in an Honesty Box unless a Party Booking is made.
Party Bookings will incur a £10 per booking extra charge
as the kitchen facilities for a party booking can be used for the preparation of cold food e.g. sandwiches, wraps, pre-cooked pies etc. Hot drinks can be made.
There are no facilities for cooking food and any liability for re-heating food or drink rests solely with the Hirer.
Footwear which is deemed to harm or damage the floor of any of the Community Centre is not permitted to be worn inside, for example football boots. Any damage to the floor will incur a charge (see Damage to the premises or equipment).
Damage to the premises or equipment
The Hirer shall be liable for any damage to the premises or the fixtures, fittings, furniture or any other equipment or articles within the Base caused by his/her use of the premises. The cost of restoring or replacing the premises, the fixtures, fittings, furniture and any other piece of equipment provided within the Base to their original condition shall be assessed by the FONP whose decision is final.
In the event of damage, payment for the cost of repair or replacement will be incurred by the Hirer.
The value of such damage shall include contingent loss which the FONP may sustain should they not be able to hire out the classroom during the time deemed necessary to restore or replace the damaged premises, fixtures, fittings, furniture and/or any other equipment provided within the Base.
Injury to persons
The Hirer shall indemnify the FONP against any claims for loss, damage or injury sustained by any person present in the Base or suffered by the property of any person, during the occupation of the Hirer, except to the extent that any such loss, damage or injury was caused by the negligence of the FONP. Any accident must be reported to the FONP as soon as possible after its occurrence, but in any event, prior to departing from the Base.
Smoking is not allowed in any part of the Base. The Hirer shall ensure that there is no interference whatsoever with fire extinguishers or any other fire fighting equipment except in an emergency. Interference with any equipment will incur a replacement charge. The Hirer must not interfere with fire doors and must keep every exit and entrance clear of
obstruction and ready for use in an emergency.
All vehicles and property are left in the car park entirely at the owners risk and the FONP will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage. The Hirer shall ensure that all vehicles are parked so that no exit or entrance is obstructed.
Compliance with conditions
In the event of the refusal to comply with these conditions or any reasonable instructions given by the FofNP and its Authorised Officers, the Hirer and any persons attending the functions may be excluded from the premises. The Hirer will remain liable in respect of the hire charges as herein contained.
Any complaint connected with the hire of the premises should be made to the FONP within seven days of the function.
The FONP reserves the right to amend or vary these conditions or impose additional conditions without notice.
Charges will be categorised under 3 headings:
1) Community groups – non-profit making voluntary groups who offer services that will be of benefit to Nuttall Park or to the local community.
2) Private/commercial organisations using the premises for profit making activities.
3) Private parties that require kitchen facilities
Setting up and clearing time to be included in the time booked.
